Sapling Chao have been created in support of an allied mod called "The Confection". This Chao gives the player the following stats or abilities:

Health and Mana Regeneration + 2% This Chao grants the player an additional increase of stats during the day:

Block Placement Range + 2 Health and Mana Regeneration + 6%

When summoned, this Chao increases the growth speed of nearby Saplings.

Obtainability

This Chao will join your adventure if you give your Chao 30 Seeds and 4 Bottled Water.

Playability

This Chao is playable with no custom sounds.

Color Variants

This Chao has 50+ different colored variants to choose from.

Chao Behavior and Lore

If you feed your Chao seeds and plant them in the floor when they're ready, a Sapling Chao will emerge out of the spot they were buried in after a few days of being planted.

These Chao like to sit in small puddles of water on hot days to keep themselves hydrated while they grow into their next evolution. When a Sapling Chao is ready to further evolve, it will return to its original spot, bury itself and begin growing into whatever seed you gave to your Chao.

It is said that if you give the egg of a Sapling Chao to a Dirt Chao or bury the Sapling Chaos egg, its egg turn into something completely different all on its own.
