Chao Island: Axolotl Chao

Tiers & Functionality

Axolotl Chao are a Unique, Offensive, Support Rank Chao that increase Life, Mana Regeneration and Bait Power by 10%.

If the player is in water, they'll swim faster and gain an additional 10% Life and Mana Regeneration.

If you are around water, Axolotl Chao will attack fish in the water and gather any items dropped by them.

Obtainability

You can obtain an Axolotl Chao by giving a Default, Colorless or Colored Water Chao of your choice 10 Grubby, 30 Worms and 60 Water Fruit.

Chao History

Since Piers' brother is a big fan of Axolotl's and they own two Minecraft plushies, one pink and one blue, it only made sense to add them into Terraria so we could go on an adventure with both of them. Axolotls were deeply researched before their inclusion into the garden and they were created to be as accurate and as fun as possible, just like everything else, really.
