Baby Star Chao Functionality

Baby Chao are a Rare, Support Chao that can only buff the player at night.

At night, they increase the players Maximum Mana by 20, their Magic Damage by 2%, their Magic Regeneration by 2% and they grant immunity to fall damage.

This Chao occasionally drops 1-2 stars.

Star Chao Functionality

Star Chao are a Rare, Support Chao that can only buff the player at night.

At night, they increase the players Maximum Mana by 40, their Magic Damage by 4%, their Magic Regeneration by 4% and they grant immunity to fall damage.

When the player is struck, it causes stars to fall from the sky onto enemies.

This Chao occasionally drops 3-4 stars.

Neutral Star Chao Functionality

Neutral Star Chao are a Unique, Support Chao that can only buff the player at night.

At night, they increase the players Maximum Mana by 50, their Magic Damage by 5%, their Magic Regeneration by 5% and they grant immunity to fall damage.

When summoned, it summons a circle of Stars around the player that deal damage to enemies.

This Chao occasionally drops 4-5 stars.

Obtainability

You can obtain a Baby Star Chao by giving a Colored Chao of your choice 20 Fallen Stars and 2 Stars in a Bottle.

You can obtain a Star Chao by giving a Colored Chao of your choice 40 Fallen Stars and 4 Stars in a Bottle.

You can obtain a Neutral Star Chao by giving a Colored Chao of your choice 50 Fallen Stars, 5 Stars in a Bottle and 5 Meteorite Bars.

Chao History

The Star Chao is one of the oldest designs in the Chao Island Mod.

It was originally created as scrapped idea by DylanDoe21, the creator of the Ultranium and Spooky Mod.

This Chao was left out of the garden for a year until its sprite was redesigned and then re-added during the Cosmic Chao Update.
