Chao Garden: Omo-Chao

Stats & Functionality

Omo-Chao is a Unique, Support Chao that primarily assists the player with important functions through dialogue. Omo-Chao has many different reactions like when the players health is low, when enemies are nearby, when the player is about to drown, etc. Omo-Chao grants immunity to confusion since it always has advice to share when you find yourself needing some guidance.

Obtainability

When you start the mod with a new character, you'll start with Omo-Chao in your inventory. If you lose or throw away Omo-Chao on your journey, you can make another one at the Tinkerers Workshop for 20 Iron Bars or 20 Lead Bars.

Color Variants

This Chao has up to 54 different color variants that can be purchased from the Black Market Chao. To Change Omo-Chao's color, give the guide a Paint Bucket of any color and they'll tell you more information on how to obtain one of the 54 different color combinations.

Chao Lore and Personality

Omo-Chao is the main guide, everyone knows about Omo-Chao! Omo-Chao spends all of its time guiding Chao and the gardeners through various experiences on their adventure, giving them helpful tips and tricks so they can live a happy, healthy and safe life.

Chao History

Omo-Chao is one of the very first Chao added to the Chao Island Mod and it was the first advanced Chao to have custom Timers and Encounters. Because of Omo-Chao, Chao like the Annoying Dog Chao were made possible. The goal was to make Omo-Chao interact with every single possible thing the player would encounter, which is why it has so many sounds that are still being included and modified to this day.
